Glomeropitcairnia Bromeliad Plant Species

Glomeropitcairnia (glomero-pitcair’ne-a) - Belonging to the Tillandsioideae subfamily; only 2 species are known to exist and they are Glomeropitcairnia penduliflora Glomeropitcairnia eretiflora.

As with all plants in the subfamily they are spineless. Both plants take many years to bloom and are rarely found in cultivation.
